Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Love the look and warmth of these wellies but unfortunately they are not suitable to walk any distance due to the rubber inner heel. I've tried extra socks and heel pads but nothing sticks or works. very disappointed at this stage.”

“I love the boot. I am a woman with broad calf and the women's boots were too snug. I worked with customer support and ended up with a men's boot that is perfect. I asked if there was a difference bt men's and women's and assured there was not. I agree - very pleased with my purchase. Just waiting for the short rain boots to become available to obtain a spring pair. These boots a great for autumn/early spring (and some winter).”
