Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“a very sturdy and well-made boot but it is extremely heavy and very wide in the foot- I have to wear 2 pairs of thick socks- it is very narrow in the calves and ankle which suits as I have a slim leg but quite difficult to get on and off- if you are making it for a slim leg then the foot needs to be slim as well and this was not the case- I will keep them and use them for short walks and the garden but I would not recommend for long walks as the foot is so wide and a slim lady's foot would slip around”
