“I find the pillow comfortable to sleep on and using the extra pillow as advised, my sleep is better. However, like other reviewers, the smell is unpleasant. I left it a week before using and, now, 4 weeks later, it still has a distinctive 'artificial' smell.”
“Background - I've slept, for many years with a feather pillow. I never liked foam or hollow fibre as I couldn't shape them my way. This worked fine for me, but, over the last few years I've had complaints from Hubby about my snoring.
This started around peri-menopause and has continued. So, being a good wife (lol, Votes for Women!!!), I set out on a quest to fix it. Over this past year I've tried, nasal strips, nasal sprays, nasal dilators, had allergy tests and intolerance tests, nothing worked.
Then, I thought, anti-snoring pillow. Please, forgive me, as I know you say they do not exist, but if I hadn't fallen down that particular wormhole, I wouldn't have found Levitex.
So, with the power of YouTube, there you were. I watched all the videos I could find, and was enlightened to the prospect that maybe I don't have a deviated septum or a fatty neck, maybe I just have rotten sleep posture?!
After all the cod cures, and continuining lack of effective relief for poor old Hubby, I thought I'd try out your Levitex pillow.
I was interested in the fact that the material you use is not traditional memory foam as I don't like the idea of sinking into a marshmallow and boiling to death!!
Any-hew, I selected the appropriated pillow for my height, ordered it and waited. It arrived quickly, brilliant! Now to see if this was just another waste of money.
Initially, the pillow felt too solid. Night one was awful, but I stuck with it and started to re-train where I put my head. I'm 80% side sleeper with the rest on my front. Within a week I relearned my positioning and am overjoyed with the out come. My sleep posture has improved dramatically, so much so that my airways are not constricted or crushed. The snoring has stopped - just like that! I keep asking Hub, did I snore? I keep getting "nup". Brilliant!
I couldn't be happier and I will take my wonderful pillow with me when I'm staying away. However, if you offered a smaller version, for travel, I'd buy one for sure! Half size (width) would be ideal, maybe there's a new niche for you!?
So, in conclusion, and forgive my ramblings, but, within 2 weeks your pillow has changed my life. Thank you James!”
“Was very quickly able to adjust to the pillow and found it extremely comfortable. Helped with neck /shoulder pain as I suffer from osteoarthritis. However, the strong chemical smell emanating from the pillow was very off-putting - I left it outside in the fresh air for a couple of days before using it. The strong chemical odour from the pillow lasted for over two weeks before it began to fade a little. Still detecting the same chemical odour after a month.... but hopefully, that will reduce as the weeks go by.”
“As expected the pillow was much more firm than I am used to. It was recommended by my physio who thought it could help my neck pains - she also advised to give it a few weeks to see any progress. I am getting used to the pillow but sadly my neck pains are now worse than before. I will persevere a little longer.”
“My Levitex Pillow,
My faithful friend,
Where side sleepers lay,
And find their peace at end.
With you I drift,
Into a deep slumber,
And wake up rested,
Ready to conquer with wonder.
I can't wait to sleep,
Upon your comfort,
For with you by my side,
My dreams can truly transport.”
“I am absolutely loving my Levitex pillow. I am sleeping much better than previously and the support given is perfect. It did smell strange for a few nights but I aired it well and the smell soon went. My only wish is that it was slightly longer so it actually fits inside a normal sized pillow case. Definitely worth every penny though and will be recommend to friends and family.”
“Since receiving the Levitex pillow I have been sleeping on my side and I believe this has stopped my snoring. I was previously a back sleeper so it took a little getting used to and I keep a pillow between my knees and hug a pillow to support my shoulders and arms.”
