“Good scooter for the price. I like the ability to buy a replacement battery, and the ability to buy spare parts.
The stem is a bit big, I wish there was a way to have a better grip to carry the scooter.
I also wish there was a dual motor option.”
“I am disappointed in my purchase of the Levy Electric. It is way too slow to be use daily. It maxes out at around 10-12 mph on flat roads. On any uphills, it is painfully worse. The range is useless if it takes you 2 hours to cover that distance.
I wish I could return this for a better option.”
“I bought a Hiboy Scooter that arrived broken. Given my concerns regarding maintenance I took that as a bad sign, sent it back and went with Levy since they have a shop where I live in NY. The scooter is light weight but feels solidly built, is nicely designed, has a smooth ride and has no trouble getting over the Williamsburg Bridge. I don’t think it is the longest range scooter but it gets me to my office a little more than four miles away on the medium setting and could probably still make it on the high setting. I've been riding it in pretty cold weather, so I suspect I’ll get better range on the high setting once it isn’t so cold anymore (lithium batteries don’t like the cold). Regardless, I plan on buying a spare battery and the scooter charges very quickly, in seemingly less than the advertised time. If range is a concern you can get the Levy Plus or take advantage of the swappable battery. So far I love the Levy and feel like I made the right choice.”
“Scooters come with bare-bones essentials, headlights, tail-lights, etc. I'd recommend getting a brighter headlight to add on and an after-market phone holder. They sell some of this at their stores and websites too.”
