“Have had my scooter for a few days and really enjoying it. I had a charger issue that was quickly resolved by Levy Support. I was concerned about performance on initial ride out of the box. However, after fully charging, I have attained speeds to 17mph. I weigh 210lb so I expect a performance and range hit.
Have had many comments and inquiries about my scooter around the college campus where I work. I now look forward to running quick errands to different parts of campus. My five mile ride to campus is also fun.”
“im 205 pounds and the scooter didnt even make it 4 miles. Also after about 2 miles it reverts to a max speed of 10 miles/hour which is agonizingly slow”
“I am now on my second unit after having to replace my first. The motor controller needed replacing and the screws to remove it were of such poor quality that I had to replace the entire unit. The battery cover is flimsy and the stem locking mechanism could be a bit more robust. I also don't find that the milage is as high as expected from the battery life and the first scooters breaks would pump rather than apply as they do in my second unit.
That being said, I love the concept, the design and the speed and value I get with my levy. Would I buy again? Unsure at this point. We will see how the second unit with better brakes and a newer controller fares.
I will say this, the levy team has been excellent in their provision of support and the choice to replace rather than send me parts was a welcome one. Response time of the team has been reasonable as has the knowledge and helpfulness of your service crew.”
