“This insert works great for using with a pipe. Soft flame is adjustable and so far is trouble free. Thinking about ordering a second one for one of my Zippo shells.”
“This particular example is dangerous/unsafe. Test your inserts before using them in a zippo case.
I can only speak for this example not for the product on the whole. My issue might be a rare/isolated issue... However, I have to mention it.
I tested the insert before installing into a case. When the cam is opened, the jet flame works perfectly. When I release the button, the yellow flame works perfectly.
The problem: When I closed the cam, the yellow flame did NOT STOP. I opened and closed the cam several times and eventually the flame stopped. Usually could still hear gas escaping slowly even then.
I would include a video, but didn't realize that option existed and I have already returned it.”
