Such a good idea - saves having loads of tins of coconut milk (that is usually filled with random stuff), whereas this is 100% organic creamed coconut - nothing else, so you know exactly what you are eating! I make loads of homemade curries so it's perfect for this, my next mission is homemade coconut yogurt. I'm unsuccessful thus far :( I also re-use the jars for storage or overnights oats! (Where I use LucyBee cocao powder).

Love this-fab in cooking. I've just made a curry and added a dollop to make it creamy.

This is a brilliant product. I eat a huge amount of coconut oil and creamed coconut as part of a ketogenic diet and so am somewhat of a connoisseur! This honestly tastes great. For the last 12 months I have been using another organic brand that comes in a block of 200 grams. The only thing that I don't like about a block is that it's wrapped in plastic which I try to avoid. So I was delighted to find this product. It is more tricky to use but I am able to remove a portion of coconut without heating the jar which I am pleased about. I basically love everything about this product except the price, hence only 4 stars. You could buy 800 grams of the blocks for the same price if you buy in bulk and so I feel a jar could be between £5 and £6 rather than over £7. I am happy to pay a bit extra for the glass jar but this seems very expensive, particularly when you eat a lot of it. Please Lucy Bee make it more affordable if possible. Otherwise, it's a fantastic product.

Hi Gemma, thank you for your feedback. We are so pleased to hear how much you like our Creamed Coconut. At Lucy Bee we pay a price premium for our products to be Fair Trade. We firmly believe in the values and ethics of Fair Trade and want to help improve the life of those who are producing our wonderful products. The Fair Trade premium is paid on the factory price of the raw product. The premium we pay for our products is used for sustainable community projects and fair wages. FairTSA also guarantee monkeys are not used to harvest the coconuts we use. We use recyclable glass jars, biodegradable label and BPA free non-intent design lids. I hope this information helps, please let us know if you need anything else. Many thanks, Rian

I've never tried this before but used it in a chicken korma I made as an alternative to coconut milk, as you suggested with added water and was really impressed. Tasted amazing!
