“I‘ve been on a ponytail mission. Purchased from INH (faux), Bellamy, Foxy Locks, and Glam Seamless. I’ve been looking for the right color, thickness, length, and quality. The Luxy one is now my favorite.
The Luxy pony has everything I wanted:
My hair is thick - wanted a thickish pony, but not too thick that it weighed me down
My hair is balayaged - wanted a GOOD match
My hair is about 18” long in a ponytail - wanted something close in length
My hair is pretty healthy - wanted hair that didn’t look ratty against my natural hair (although the Luxy pony can look a liiiitttlllle frayed at the ends)
Tip: if your hair is balayaged and your natural ponytail is predominantly balayaged or the base of your ponytail is not your solid root color, go for the highlights version for the pony. The balayage starts too far down (6”) on the pony to look right. My hair matches perfectly with the chestnut brown balayage extensions, but the chestnut brown highlights pony works SO much better for a ponytail. To me, the balayage pony seems better suited for someone with a solid hair color or balayage that begins really far down.”
