I'd give the hair extensions 5 stars because they definitely are great quality and a perfect colour which blends in with my hair.
However, I purchased the 160g based on reviews and I've had the extensions for around 9 months now and have maybe used them once (only when braided) as they are too thin for my hair.
I thought as my hair grew longer it would blend more seamlessly but it hasn't. I'm a bit disheartened as the reason I purchased these ones was due to reviews and some instagram ambassadors with similar hair to me and I've not been able to use them. I am living in Australia but decided to go for Luxy because of such a great reviews.
I'm just wondering if you have any advice for me and what I should do. The reason I'm emailing now is because I'm looking into buying new ones again but from Australia, but would obviously like to be able to use the ones I have (and spent a lot of money on)
Is there anything I can do to be able to get thicker hair extensions without having to pay for them from scratch again?
Or is there any sort of switch that can be made, obviously I know I've worn them once so probably not but just wanted to ask!
Other than the thickness these hair extensions are great and I know it's more my fault for ordering a size too small, but I wasn't to know until they were opened as I couldn't test the tester on weight/thickness only colour.

I'm sorry to hear that the 160g set is not enough hair to blend in with your hair. I'm glad and appreciative that you gave them the opportunity to wait and see if they would blend with your hair once it grew out more - sadly they still do not.
Becky, the 160g set is best suited for medium hair types. If they are still not thick enough for your hair, then the only other option would be to purchase another set, and use a few wefts from there to compensate for the lack of thickness.
Otherwise, have you tried curling the hair? I find that this usually a good trick to help extensions blend better. Or even styling them in an updo of some sort can help disguise the extensions.
Becky, I suggest that you please kindly send me some photos of your hair while wearing the extensions to our customer support at info@luxyhair.com and I will be happy to let you know if I have any other tips and tricks to pass along to help them blend better.
