In regards to the hair leaving black strands of hair on your hot tools, I can assure you that Luxy Hair extensions are made with 100% Remy Human Hair. Sometimes, if the hot tools are set at a temperature that is too high, the hair can begin to melt and this can happen. I recommend to set your hot styling tools to a maximum of 120C/250F and to always use a heat protectant spray before styling.

In regards to the colour of your Luxies, you are more than welcome to have your Dirty Blonde extensions dyed to Strawberry Blonde by a professional hair colourist to achieve an exact match with your hair. If you do decide to get your Luxies dyed, we recommend that you get the hair colourist to test a one clip weft prior to dying the full set, to ensure that you're satisfied with the results.

“I bought Luxy Hair brand after doing some research on the color. From reading other reviews, I read that the dirty blonde will match multiple blonde hair colors. When I got them in the mail, I was in shocked at how UNNOTICEABLE it was that i had extensions in. I get compliments everywhere i go and people cannot believe that its not my hair because it matches so well. If you have blonde highlights and different blonde/ light brown colors within your hair, DIRTY BLONDE is for you! Also, I got the 160 gram set and i have yet to wear all of the wefts. I dont know if I have a small head or if this is normal, but my hair looks full with only 3/4 of the hair provided.
** I did have some issues the first 2-3 times I curled it with some melting of pieces, but after reading reviews, this is a normal thing and should stop after being washed. As it was annoying the first few times, it does not prevent me from rating 5 stars.
** Also, I had an issue with delivery and they were quick to respond, apologize and refund my shipping costs.”

Your Dirty Blonde Luxies are a perfect match and look wonderful on you! Luxies are dyed using a multi-tone adapt system, which means they can blend perfectly in your hair even if it's a shade or two different.
In regards to the hair melting, I recommend to lower the heat setting of your hot tools to prevent this from happening. We recommend to only use a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. While our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don't get that sort of nutrition.
