“I actually didn’t use it with halo but I sewed on the clip that was sent with in and used it as clip-ins. I also had to color it to match my hair color. The curls doesn’t last as long when clueless. My hair is long than the clips ins.”

“There are three parts to this review: 1.) Color and length 2.) My opinion of the halo, and 3.) packaging. Read whichever bullet point means the most to you :)
1.) I purchased the 20” halo in chocolate brown balayage. The color is pretty close to a perfect match for me. This company has done an excellent job of providing resources that help you in choosing your best color, even without sending them a photo of my hair for color-matching. As for the length, this company does not account for petite persons when showing you where the hair will fall. I purchased the 20”, which touched my hip bones on my 5’0” frame. Since flower-child was not the look I was going for, I was not happy with the length, but, shame on me for not considering my height when I purchased. I still docked them a star because I felt mislead by the length guide.
2.) The halo overall is a pretty fantastic concept. One large weft with a couple of clips that adds instant volume and length. It was great! The hair Luxy uses is beautiful and soft and doesn’t have that chemical smell you get with some extensions, so I felt comfortable wearing them right out of the box. The color-match piece is perfect for ensuring you’ve picked the right color. Again, my issue with the piece is that it is not designed for a petite person. Despite the 7 different halo-wire sizes, (I needed XS) the actual weft was too wide for my petite head. It looked beautiful with all of my hair down, but trying to tuck it behind my ears or pull it back looked completely ridiculous. Tucking made my ears stick out like dumbo and trying to do a half-up style exposed the weft. I tried everything but could not make it look normal at all. I docked another star for this issue. Ultimately, this piece was a waste of money for me because I am just too small for it and I cannot return it now that it has been “worn.”
3.) Packaging. I don’t usually comment on packaging but I greatly dislike the circular box these extensions come in. Trying to get them back in the box is a thing of nightmares. I had little pieces of hair sticking out all over, disheveling the extensions. A nice rectangular box would make much more sense, though not as cute as the circular box, I will admit. I did like that the color-match piece was accessible without touching the rest of the extension and security tape was in place to ensure that no one had worn or tried on the piece before returning.
Overall, I think this is a great concept and perfect for average-sized individuals. If you are petite, steer-clear, they probably won’t work for you. Yes, I wear children’s hats and shoes, to give some reference to my size. Hope this lengthy review
