Petya, I'm sorry to hear that you were charged so much for customs. Sadly, this is not in our control. The most I've heard of duty charges to Canada was around $50/$60. Perhaps you may want to contact the customs department to discuss the very high duty tax and compare it to the tax on previous purchases from us.
Maybe in the future, if you have a friend or family member to lives in the USA and visits frequently, or if you visit the USA, you can ship your extensions there instead to prevent the very high importing taxes.

The color was perfect and all I needed was a few shattered layers to blend with my hair.”
“I spent a lot of time researching in order to find the best possible hair extension brand (without overspending, especially on a product that isn't what it seems to be) and I decided on Luxy. I'm super happy with my decision. I've only had them 3 months so far, but I love them and have gotten SO many head-turns and compliments. My natural hair is just past shoulder length, a textured long bob, and is very fine but I have a lot of it. I had my hair dresser attach them for me and cut them into gorgeous layered locks with finer ends, to blend in better with my length, and they look amazing. I like to wear them in loose beach waves, and they keep that style pretty well so I don't have to do much work. They are easy to put in, they are really well made, not cheaply done pieces that will fall apart on you, and once you find the best placement to attach them (everyone's head/hair is different) you should have no trouble putting them in/taking them out. I see only a few poor reviews on Luxy, but I have to wonder whether they took special care of them- make sure you are treating them like the real human hair they are, and giving them hydration (condition them, use coconut oil spray, whatever works) and gentle brushing, no quickie rip-throughs when you get a tangle. I absolutely LOVE them, I literally have no complaints. Take good care of them and they will last longer and in better condition.”

“My hair is already long but these are very long, I definitely needed to get them trimmed before I could really wear them without them looking completely fake (wow your hair grew four inches from yesterday??). The quality is great, and I use them mostly for making my updos look so much better and fuller. I wear them to add length when I wear my hair down but only when it's curly. I have tried multiple times to try and make it look good straight, but I haven't quite been successful in that endeavor, but that's fine by me as I wear my hair with a slight curly 90% of the time. I am so glad I bought these, they really have expanded what I am able to do with my hair and I am so happy as I love doing fun things with my hair! They stay connected very well, I haven't had any issues with them slipping out of my hair and they are pretty easy to conceal. They are a little thick near the clip, so I wear them low so that I can conceal them a little easier. All in all I am happy with this purchase, and am sad it took me so long to finally pull the trigger and buy these!”

Sometimes wearing hair extensions straight can be a little more obvious especially if they are not blended into your hair, so I definitely recommend you do that at your hairdresser's should you wish to wear them straight more often.
