“I had to pay a boarder tax, before I could receive my extensions. It was $70.00. So, my final cost of purchase was $350.00 which broke my heart and made me feel like a fool. Who spends that on hair!?? The company refunded me $20.00. Which was courteous of them. I had to colour the hair which also increased the cost. My hair is very thick, and the extensions are still not thick enough. Hoping in the future they could rethink their manufacturing to accommodate products for individuals with thicker hair.

I'm sorry to hear that you were charged customs fees at the time of delivery. As we do not have a warehouse in Canada, any incoming parcels are subject to a customs tax by the Canadian government. If you are not in a position to pay the tax, feel free to refuse the package at the time of delivery or you can also dispute the charge here: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/import/postal-postale/dispute-contestation-eng.html
Secondly, dear Stephanie, I'm sorry that the 220g set is not thick enough for your hair. For those with very thick hair, more than one set may be needed. However, I do sincerely appreciate your feedback to consider making even thicker sets for those individuals.

“Absolutely in love with my Luxy Hair! When I ordered my extensions, my hair was bleached blonde on the ends and I wasn't sure whether to order an ombre set or one straight color. I emailed asking for a color match and quickly got a response suggesting Dirty Blonde to match the ends of my hair. I was wary of the color but I went with it anyway - knowing I could return the set if it didn't work.
The set arrived very quickly after I placed my order and I was amazed at just how well it matched my ends! It blended pretty well with my ombre-ish hair, but I eventually decided to lighten my natural hair all over and they blend in absolutely beautifully. I recently went on vacation and posted pictures wearing my Luxies and received so many compliments on my hair both on the trip and from people back home asking how my hair grew so quickly or if I had extensions put in while I was away because they look so professional and natural. 10/10 would recommend these!”

“After 5 months of daily use, the extensions are starting to clump together, giving them an unnatural look... but to be fair this has happened with all hair extensions I've ever bought. Otherwise, I love these extensions and will continue to buy Luxy! I bought the dirty blonde in 220grams... ended up not using all of them. Next time I'm trying 160g.”

I'm so happy to hear that you have enjoyed your Dirty Blonde Luxies for the last 5 months and they are now starting to show signs of dryness and clumping. Silvanna, the lifespan of Luxy Hair extensions is anywhere from 3-6 months to sometimes a year, depending how often they are worn, and the general care they receive. Most likely your set is nearing the end of it's lifespan and will need to be replaced.

“I never thought about hairextensions until i repeatedly saw those before and after pictures on instagram. I decided to just try it out. I only use them for a special occasion like a party and really like the wow effect of it. You instantly feel more feminin. clipping the extensions in was not difficult with the help of the video but i do need more practice to layer all the pieces so that the top pieces stay hidden.
They don't hurt but it does feel like a relief to take them off at night. Again i'm not used to extensions.
I'm glad i tried it and will continue with this brand for the quality and guidance.”
