“If you have any "spinning media" still in your Mac, then I would heartedly recommend upgrading to a solid state drive. When you first see that it formats in about 5 seconds, you know the whole thing will be faster all around. Brings modern day performance back to older iMac's.
Just wish Apple made it easier to get inside to change the drive!”
