“I gave this as a Christmas gift to my daughter. Wrapped it up for the freezer and then sent her on a mission to find them. She is the only one in our household who loves them. She hasn't tried them yet, but if it is as good as the other seafood we purchased, she will love them.”
“I love mussels but these were a bit disappointing. The sauce was incredibly salty. About 60% of the mussels were large and meaty and a beautiful rosy color, like the picture, but the rest were small and grayish. I didn't use the salty sauce in the bag at all - opted to take cooked mussels out of their shells and toss with linguine, butter, olive oil, and fresh garlic. I'll probably use the second bag (rinsed of sauce) in a cioppinno or over linguini with a red sauce next time.”
“Easy to prepare and it was nice that several options given for how to prepare. Also convenient that the box contained two separate pouches so we enjoyed them twice. Not the best mussels we have ever had, but definitely met our expectations for a frozen product.”
