“I really hoped we would enjoy this chicken but, I'm afraid, I have to side with those who don't like the spices used. What happened to chicken marinated in buttermilk, dipped in flour, and seasoned with salt and pepper? The chicken was also kind of greasy, although I'm not sure why. I peeled off the rock hard coating and the chicken beneath was tender and good, if a little meager, so at least we didn't have to waste all of it.”

“For years we've been searching for the best tasting southern style chicken and I think we've finally found it! We made an adjustment to the cooking and it turned out excellent!!! Instead of cooking it in the oven straight thru, we took it out 10 minutes early and then fried it an electric skillet for the remaining 10 minutes and OMG!!! Unbelievable...we highly recommend it, with the recipe twist! You won't be disappointed...”
