“Followed all instructions on package, removed from freezer night before but left in box. Potato still frozen next day. Should be a note to tell you to remove from insulated box. When potato thawed it turned in to a milky soup which was a little concerning. This was for a party and debated whether to go out and buy more potatoes as could not see the soup turning out well. However, decided to cook for half the time before making the decision. Surprisingly the mashed potato did thicken and when fluffed after full cook time where perfect. Taste was excellent. Perhaps some sort of warning could be given about this on the package.”
“Everyone loved the mashed potatoes and I will order again. Even though mashed potatoes are pretty easy to make, it's a pain in the butt. These were closed to homemade as I've tasted.”
“This potato dish is really good—much better than any other mashed potatoes I have tried. One casserole is enough for 3 meals for my husband and myself. Bake on a baking sheet—the container is flimsy. Also, stir during the baking and bake longer than the instructions say. I think defrosting the casserole prior to baking would help too. When fully frozen the potatoes don’t bake in the middle without stirring and without a longer baking time.”
