The shanks have a very strong smeel which off putting. I prepare them according to the instructions, however the meat was still taugh.

The lamb shanks were delicious and falling off the bone, the portobello sauce was the perfect finish for the shanks. I used it for our date night dinner and TBT I was not asked if I made them so decided not to volunteer where they came from lol

I am not able to get lamb shanks where I live now so I was happy to see these in the catalog. I liked them and will order them again.

I followed directions and it was tough. I was unable to cut it. When I cook the next one I will cook it in the slow cooker for eight hours!
