“Disappointing, as this is regular rice, not authentic Arborio Risotto (which I love and have made dozens of times). It may have been cooked like risotto but the texture is mealy/dry, unlike creamy risotto. The short rib meat was tender and overall this could have been a good dish if it was real risotto. I also added more grated parmesan for flavor.
MacKenzie used to have a "Creamy, Cheesy Risotto" dish that was Excellent. Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore and must have replaced it with this mediocre substitute.”
