“Delicious, with buttery & flaky pastry, moist turkey, yummy stuffing. 1 slice is filling but still need sides (I had au gratin potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin roll cake). Would have given 5 stars but I thought the cooking directions were questionable-had to peel it away from the parchment paper. Foil might have been better.”
“the pastry around the turkey was delightful. Light and crisp; not at all soggy. The dressing had a nice flavor with the addition of the cranberries. the turkey, however, was, well, odd. It was chucks of white meat and very moist, but oddly so. Chewed almost rubbery with a slight aftertaste. I thought perhaps it had been brined to keep it moist, but not sure that was it. The dish presented well on the table, but I doubt I would buy again.”
