The installation is sort of intuitive but I would have felt better with suggestions of where to install, e.g., on a 4x4, what size screws since none were included, and the use/placement of the plate which controls the side-to-side movement of the reel. “My first Macnaught ONLY lasted 35 years!!!.the Spring broke that rewinds .It was a great oroduct..Looked at cheaper knock offs REPLACEMENTS on Amazon. CHINA!!!...Looks LIKR LIKE their patents expired???BUT Macnaught is still being made in Australia and if the last35 years is an example of their quality you would be a fool not to continue with their product..Easily installed as the mounting bracket was the same and just used their new tube/shaft.Hose diameter smaller but got more length .”
