Our Torus Type 2 Skirting Board is comprised of high-density HDF material. Offering moisture-resistance and sturdy construction, the Torus Type 2 Skirting Board is manufactured with resilience and durability in mind.
This profile is also available in pine.
The picture depicts a 150mm high Torus Type 2 skirting board. The design never changes size so the plain part of the skirting will decrease and increase as you change the height of the board.(Often misspelled as 'Taurus skirting board') Details: Profile Size: 50mmSize: Product sold in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths in sizes 70mm - 400mm (heights). Thicknesses available are 15mm, 18mm and 25mm.Finish: The primed finish will require an undercoat and final paint finish. The undercoated finish may require a final paint finish.Rebate: Rebate option is available for an easy-fix cable management solution for hiding surface wiring or pipe work (20mm wide x 10mm deep cut-out at the base of the rear of the board).

“Damaged boards resulted in joins when I had paid extra to order the length I needed to remove the joints..I chose the under coated option however a section of the board had not been allowed to dry properly and resulted in pulling paint of the board it was packaged together with. Overall not a happy experience”

“The moulding shape is almost identical to my original 6.5" wood boards. The primed and undercoated finish is great apart from on the underside of the moulding recess the paint hadn't reached properly, however Skirting World resupplied the order - so 5 stars for that. They are delivered with the edges very well protected so there's only scope for the ends to be very slightly damaged if mishandled. The best thing is there's no alternative moulding on the back and the paint finish is whiter and better than you get with the builders merchants or DIY shop supplied ones. When I had to sand one bit, the MDF fibres didn't fluff up.”

“There is what appears to look like dust in the grooves but it isn't dust as it cannot be cleaned away and will only clear on painting. Is this how it should be?”
