“First saw these hats being promoted by Michael Chandler and initially dismissed the idea of spending 60-70 bucks on a hat. After thinking about it for a couple weeks I decided to pull the trigger. “So, I sweat a lot. I also shave my head, so there's not a lot stopping it from ruining every beloved hat I've ever had. I had to buy black hats almost exclusively because if it was warm out I was only wearing any other color once or twice. This was a terrible life that I don't recommend to anyone.
Another problem - Big Head Syndrome. Snapbacks were like a fat man's belt. Just need that ONE MORE NOTCH in between two that already exist. Another special kind of hell. The Melin XL fits perfectly at the second notch, which not only sits incredibly comfortably on my arguably prominent forehead but leaves room for significant - though unexpected by any natural cause - cranial growth.
Now back to the sweat. The salty star of the show. This hat handles it, gets hung up and asks you if you've got any more for it the next day. Like on some "Bring it on" sh*t. And when you put that majestic bastard on your head it won't feel a thing like you smuggled a jellyfish across the Mexican border yesterday. It'll feel like a hat.
