“Exceptionally well crafted hat. The British khaki color is great. I love all the extra little features too. The strap back leather buckle is the best I’ve ever seen. I agree with other reviewers that the hat is a bit “wrinkly,” as compared to the other melin hats I own. It’s not a deal breaker, but it loses a half star for being less refined-looking.”

“I was expecting a typical waxed canvas material but this doesn’t seem like the traditional waxed cotton. I’m under the impression the fabric is just sprayed with a water repellent solution. I’ll probably play around with a wax and apply it myself so the hat can age with me. Overall very well made and comfortable hat and I’ll enjoy wearing it.”
