“I was expecting a typical waxed canvas material but this doesn’t seem like the traditional waxed cotton. I’m under the impression the fabric is just sprayed with a water repellent solution. I’ll probably play around with a wax and apply it myself so the hat can age with me. Overall very well made and comfortable hat and I’ll enjoy wearing it.”
