“As always a high quality hat from Melin. Hat is not smooth (which is reflected in the photos), but it's a unique, nice looking hat. Have not put it to the test but I fully expect it to provide more warmth, then non-thermal hat, but be cooler than the Scout model.”
“Great materials and construction, perhaps too many features (a seal under the visor, on the side, on the back gets into automotive badge territory). The hidden pocket is cool and they use clever packaging to highlight it. Unfortunately, I returned mine because I prefer to wear hats slightly lower than my hairline and this created weird peaks at the front three seams that I don't like, but I'm picky about structured vs unstructured hats.”
