“Star Wars: Shatterpoint Core Set is an impressive miniatures skirmish game that delivers an engaging and immersive experience set in the Star Wars universe. Designed for two players aged 14 and up, it strikes a balance between strategic depth and cinematic action, typically lasting around 90 minutes per session. The components included in the core set are exceptional, featuring detailed miniatures that require assembly and painting, appealing to dedicated hobby gamers looking for a rewarding challenge. The miniatures themselves represent a significant step up from those found in Star Wars: Legion, both in terms of sculpting quality and overall production values. The quality of the miniatures, terrain pieces, and accompanying accessories showcases a high production standard, ensuring a visually appealing tabletop presence. Gameplay mechanics are accessible yet strategically deep, blending intuitive rules with tactical decisions. The innovative combat and movement systems offer players meaningful choices while capturing the cinematic flair of Star Wars battles. Utilizing terrain strategically adds an additional layer of depth, rewarding careful planning and positioning. Pros: High-quality, detailed miniatures and components Engaging and cinematic gameplay Rich strategic depth with accessible rules Immersive Star Wars theme Cons: Potentially steep learning curve for new players Overall, Star Wars: Shatterpoint is chock-full of appeal for both seasoned gamers and Star Wars fans. Its careful balance of accessibility and depth, combined with top-notch components, makes it a standout title. Fans of the franchise and dedicated hobbyists will find themselves deeply immersed, enjoying each skirmish set in a galaxy far, far away.”

“Shatterpoint is a fun star wars miniature game. But you do need to assemble and paint the miniatures.”

“This core set is insanely good. Everything you need to play and actually competitive with what you get. The minis are absolutely amazing with great detail. The box came with a back drop for taking photos with two different options. Insanely good price for what you get and I would recommend this to everyone.”

“Tons of terain and well designed miniatures. My only complaint is the lack of Physical build instructions, but I guess it saves the paper. Love the models, love the game.”

“Packed with miniatures and terrain! This is one of the few starter sets that feels like there are enough models and terrain for a full game right out of the box. I’m really enjoying it so far, can’t wait to start painting.”
