“I was looking for a red light for skin health, and this one seemed like it would be perfect for face, neck, and chest all in one. However I had to stop using it on my face because I soon began to notice dark spots forming. I didn't have that before, but now I have melasma on my face and especially around my cheeks/forehead. So frustrating when something sold under the premise of skin benefit creates skin issues. I have since purchased another LED mask made for the face. I do like the panel as a night light before bed, but that's about it. Side note, I'm not typically prone to hyperpigmentation and have fair-light skin tone.”
Hi Zoe- thanks for sharing your feedback. This is extremely rare. For customers with hyperpigmentation concerns, we recommend trying the red light only. In general we recommend starting slow and working your way up. You can read more about hyperpigmentation on our blog post here: https://mitoredlight.com/blogs/mito-red-blog/red-light-therapy-hyperpigmentation
“Have enjoyed this product tremendously. Low EMF, high quality infrared NIR light for healing, collagen production, and to boost testosterone. Enjoying it day and night!”
“Ive used previous versions of this light, the ones with only two wavelengths. Results vary per person but in the family I have noticed better mood/rest, energized, better face skin. Im over 50, no glasses yet, added the light to my lutein supplement and I can tell I can see tiny font as sharp as an eagle (I dont use the goggles when using the light). Although not all of us have experience the same changes, probably different areas of help needed, we all experienced the better sleeping and vision. It is also very convenient to have the timer in the unit that shuts it off (specially if you plan longer than 10 min at night on your back and you fall asleep). About the 4 frequencies vs 2, I had the feeling of gaining 2 but losing benefits in the other 2 (less LEDs) but I guess adding a couple minutes to the session eliminates my concern, and I think the wider range synergize among them other (if you put it over the top of your head to benefit hair follicles). Yes, it is an asset that costs money, but it can help you feel or do better. The difference in price to the series in black in my case was not an issue as I get one more year of warranty, besides that, feeling a little better than before everyday is worth any of the lights The company allows a period to return it if you are not satisfied. Maybe if they could make the return free more people would be willing to invest in the light. I say this because I was hesitant of trying it for a long time. I live in the CT and they are in AZ, so the shipping back was about $40, well that was my risk; it seemed manageable.”
“Ive been using the unit daily for myself and feel it has helped with my complexion. I even use it in the morning to wake up my daughter instead of the room lights. She seems to wake up better with the red light.”
“The Mito Red Light is well made and very easy to adjust to any part of the body. I am looking forward to investing in another panel Money well spent.”
“The MitoPro 300 is a great size for use in specific areas. My husband uses it for the pain in his hand and it has helped. I just started using it on my mom who has ankle skin issues and Alzheimers. Looking forward to some great results for her with the consistent use.”
