Adding a darkening, yet breathable, crate cover can help to keep sunlight out of your dog's crate. All of our crate cover patterns will block sunlight, but if this is a main concern for you we suggest one of our darker colors.

“Overall I really like this crate cover. It fits the crate as specified, looks nice, is made with breathable material and generally works well at darkening the crate. My complaint is that the sides not sewn together (so they an be rolled up), only have one loose snap at the bottom, letting light in at the corner of the crate. And the fabric bunches up at the corner letting even more light in. I would have expected a few snaps or ties to keep the corners of the fabric tightly connected. I had to use binder clips to keep light out from one corner. I would suggest customizing this to add more ties or snaps.”

“We are so happy we bought this crate cover! Aside from the fact it will help keep the crate warmer or c for our dogs, it makes the outdoor crate area look organized and nice and neat! We don't have to drape blankets over the crate anymore. We are planning on buying one for our indoor crate too.”

“I really like the crate cover but was disappointed that it only opened on the front and right side. Our crate is tucke right side into a corner and we have the left side flapped half open so it works ok. Our boy Max has already gotten a hold of the back right corner and chewed it up pretty good. I was afraid of that with the loose side being unused.”
