I've suffered from this disease since 2019 with two trips to rehab and hundreds of AA meetings. While I am active in my recovery through both channels, I can honestly say BACtrack has been the leading assist in my recovery. I had a counselor tell me once that this would slowly lead to resentments towards my monitor(s). She was wrong. I genuinely feel like this system has kept me sober. If for no other reason than to prove others wrong. This is 100% worth your time, effort and money as a means to stay sober, if that is truly what you want. Its very easy to use. Anytime I reach out to them, they are always very helpful and quick to respond.
My only complaint is sometimes if your out and about, it will not pick up your test. I am guessing this is a wifi issue. Yet, still bothersome when you just want to take your test and get on with your day!
They have made adjustments to their testing, if you get a false positive you can retake to counteract. I have personal gotten a few false positives. I believe it was due to my perfume or essential oils I wear. Another was taken inside my car, false positive. Be careful where your taking your tests so not to pick up scents around you.
I also am not a fan of it showing your location.
The video of you taking it, along with the results should be adequate.”
