“The unit is highly sensitive and accurate. The app works every time without incident, and displays a helpful array of information. The service folks are excellent; they reply promptly and helpfully to any customer contact. The entire program is easy to set up and use, and has worked flawlessly for me.”
“I've previously tried Soberlink to keep my health in line. This BACtrack works MUCH better for me because there aren't any alert chimes telling me to do it within a certain time window. I also prefer this system because you don't have a huge device. This one is tiny enough to hide anywhere.”
“The kids found their mother with a air pump mattress connection piece attached to her breathalyzer. They also found an empty bottle of Vodka and their mother passed out at 5pm. They knew she was drinking and cheating the BAC track breath test. The police were called, and the kids woke up their mother. The police asked for a breath test on their device, she refused and now has lost the kids until another court hearing. I thought this device was fool-proof... I guess note.
I am not sure when this device captures her picture when taking the test, but she has found a way to cheat the system.”
“I'm going through a nasty divorce with a narcissist who loves to project his issues on others. He has been harassing me and calling welfare checks nonstop for our shared son stating he thinks I'm drunk. I ordered one of these and signed up for the subscription so every single time he makes an accusation and daily for that matter I am voluntarily submitting to a breathalyzer test. The app and device itself is extremely easy to use. I love that in addition to taking a photo of the individual submitting it also puts a pin location of where you are at when you submit along with date and time stamp!”
“The Bactrack View app is easy to use. Great UI and easy to set random testing schedules as well as assign monitoring and accountability partners. The breathalyzer that comes with the service is small and discreet. Connects to the app via bluetooth and takes readings quickly. Overall, the monitoring service and app/breathalyzer do a great job of helping with my recovery.
The only concern is the time limit allotted to test for random testing, which is 30 min. Other services, such as SoberLink, allow for 2 hours (or the ability for the monitoring entity to adjust the allotted time). The fixed 30 min timeframe makes it difficult when I don't have WiFi or cell service and need to find connect, or, if I'm in a work meeting, it is inconvenient to leave in the middle of the meeting to test.”
