“I am an alcoholic who has been trying to get sober through AA for many years. My EX and I broke up after 9 years due to my drinking and we had a 1 year old daughter. She was so worried about me drinking with my daughter that she didn't want me to see her alone. I took her to court and we agreed I could see my daughter alone if I used this app.
It started with using the app every couple hours and her monitoring. Over the next couple months I got 50/50 parenting time and responsibilities. It's still written in our court order that I must breathalyzer with the app upon her request, but it got my daughter back and I have 50/50 from having no hope at all.
We use the regular version now without the video function. I have been sober for most of the last year except for a 1 week span where the app worked its job. After sobering up we went back to the normal routine.
