“Once you have the device set up is works great. The breathalyzer is very consistent. It will pick up even the hit of alcohol. It once picked up that I had eaten fermented kimchi 5 minutes before the test. The device is surprisingly small and portable. Fits easily next to my wallet and I can bring it around anywhere when I take my daily tests.
My only critique is you have to make sure you have bluetooth AND location active for android. It won't notify you about that and the device wont connect otherwise.
Overall I intend to keep using this for a long time to come. Thank you Bactrack!”
“Not only has it helped me regain trust with family, it has saved me multiple times from choosing the wrong choice. It has also made me think more about my health because I see the changes my body is making without drinking. I love it.”
“I use BAC track to hold my accountability in sobriety. This has been really useful for that reason. Only hiccups have been a few false positive readings (likely user error, needs to be lightly cleaned & hand sanitizer can trigger a positive) — & some lag time in loading results (likely due to wifi access). Customer service was helpful.”
“"Almost" one test per day for "Basic" level? Couldn't make it 31 tests per month? Also, there is no info in the text sent other than a test was taken (BAC, for example) so the recipient needs to log on to the website to see if the test was passed. Also, no text if a test is missed. Finally, for all tiers, no ability to manually tune the time to take the test. Definitely a must-have feature for people with lives. Sometimes 30-ish minutes doesn't cut it. 2 hours is probably the reasonable duration because if you're drunk at noon you won't be blowing 0.000 at 2pm. Oh, and you should be able to set up all features from the web, not the phone app which brings me to the final need: At the "Plus" level, there is no accommodation for a "watcher" with a corporate-issued mobile that doesn't allow apps like BACtrack View. If someone with an app on their phone spoofs the watcher's email and phone number in their copy of the app, they can set up the texting feature that should be able to be done on the web but the "watcher" still has no access to "BACtrack View" without an app on their corporate-issued phone so scheduling tests, reviewing the month, etc. is not available. I'm being nice with 3 stars and a yes to recommend.”
