“Happy to say that the second plane was received in excellent condition, first one suffered two area’s of shipping damage.Have yet to start the build but did a thorough inspection and everything seems OK. Covering is excellent and the bits and pieces appear first rate, looking forward to the build”

“Everything looked above board, until I removed the components and began the building sequence. The hinge points poked through both flap surfaces, which required repair. Further, the 67mm flap hinge points were incorrectly identified in the instructions and one end had to be shortened to prevent protruding through the flap a second time. Once the wing panels were complete, not only did the wing trim striping not match the top fuselage trim, the wing panels covered a portion of the black and white fuselage cabin trim.While there are provisions for two elevator servos, there is only one pushrod for rudder control. My preference would be for a pull-pull system.”

“Box arrived in excellent condition. Double boxed. All parts were individually wrapped or in separate boxes. All items were taped down to prevent movement. All parts were in perfect shape. Initial inspection showed top notch construction. All covering was tight and all painted items were flawless. I have started construction and can say this is no novice assembly. Manual leaves a bit to be desired and needs close review of each step. Each step needs to be mocked up first to be sure all parts fit properly before final assembly. I made the mistake of using tread lock on the landing gear legs and when I noticed an error and had to remove the screws 2 broke the blind nuts loose which required opening the lower fuselage to get a cut off wheel in to cut off the screw heads. This damaged the fuselage and required a rebuild to make it right. The hardware is a bit low grade and I replaced some of it with better hardware. Overall however I find the model itself to be well made and a great project for someone with a good knowledge of building to work through some of the shortfalls of the construction manual.”
