The 62 inch long model has remarkable detail as it should. There are details that are incorrect such as the lack of a halyard to fly the ensign on the mast and an impossible array of signal flag halyards belayed one deck higher than feasible. There are more details in error but they can be corrected.

The box arrived, on time, with a large hole in the side. After opening the box...no damage was noted, great packing. This boat is unbelievable, the detail and finish are flawless.Although there were no instructions on how to attach the rigging, after looking at the pictures on-line, it was quite easy. They really make the detail of this boat pop.I have had this boat on backorder for over two years, very glad I stayed with it.Extremely happy about buying this one.I will build a dust cover, wish one was offered at Motion RC siteThank you,Mattt

Extremely fragile construction. Poor craftsmanship, allows extremely limited upgrades. Forward to midship, 1/3 interior inaccessible. Except for 5” guns None are movable, everything else is totally glued in place, so articulation even as model would require breakage. Work to make 5” guns R/C unrealistic to pursue. The speed control is also way to fast. On/Off switch reversed. Would need hands of a 6 year old to access interior to do any real upgrades. Not enjoyable to sail, or work on. DON’T RECOMMEND. WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN. Lousy customer service.

The Fletcher is a good size with good quality and decent detail. It is not perfect but I wasn't expecting that for a Ready-to-Run model. It's classic profile looks great on the water and and it has exceptional performance from the twin 550 brushed motors. The fiberglass hull is sufficiently thick to make it rigid and the paint finish is smooth with minimal bleed where it was masked. It comes with a 6 channel TX, 2800 mA 2S Admiral battery, charger and a simple plywood stand. Mine arrived with no physical damage other than a handful of parts had become detached and were laying in the bottom of the box. Easy enough to correct. The box was heavy duty cardboard and of course double walled all around the sides because of how the top fit to the bottom. I added about 3500 grams of ballast to the hull which achieved a good waterline after shifting the weight around a bit. I will be adding lights, smoke and possibly automating the 5 gun turrets. Weathering it was straight forward. Just like painting a plastic model. Overall I am very pleased with it and look forward to more time spent on the water.

I love the fletcher class destroyer battle ship but there’s one thing missing the small navy figurenes of the whole battle ship especially the the gunners
