“For starters, this 3-axis gyro came in a cellophane-sealed box marked as a Freewing 6-axis gyro. Somehow it lost 3 in shipment. When power was applied the red led flashed continuously instead of the 5-times described in the poorly written manual. It was completely inoperative and would not respond to control commands. To make matters worse, the blue dot on the long side (which is supposed to point to the front of the aircraft) means that the gyro has to be mounted so the longer dimension of the gyro takes excessive width inside the airplane. There is no way to mount it in the center and still have room for the receiver on either side of the same mounting surface.”

“I bought this to test flight a delta wing setup that I'm experimenting with and needed something less expensive to do that with besides using my flight controller. Set everything up per instructions included. Did not work, disappointed. Found random YT video for a different gyro and set it up per that video and it worked. The instructions don't tell you but do not put your radio in delta mode if it's available, let the E51 gyro do it. Easy setup after that was figured out. Flys nice hands off.”

“Instruction book way too small. Hard to understand. Was hard to hook up. Did not tell you what the front of it was, which way it should be facing in the plane. Sort of disappointed.”

“This is for a winter build project. Have not flown, however it looks very nice, not cheapy. Looks easy to use and install. I have to say Motion RC has a solid line of products for the most part and prompt service.”
