“I installed one on a larger sport plane and another on a small speedster/sport plane, and am very pleased with the results. No adjustment of the pots necessary, and the gyro works perfectly. Only complaint is that there is only one aileron connection, and my larger plane ran each aileron on its own channel. I had to switch to a single channel to accomodate the gyro/stabilizer, which in turn made me lose my flaperon feature.Ordering a third gyro/stabilizer today for a float plane I am building.”
“Bought 2 of the units: 1 installed in a 71 inch wingspan aerobatic/sport plane that was already very stable, be having a flight stabilizer could help with some maneuvers. The other went into an updated Electrostreak, powered by an up-to-date brushless motor and 4s lipo battery. The flight stabilizer really helps the Electrostreak stay steady. I did have to reduce the aileron sensitivity a little, but otherwise works great. Units seem to be much higher quality than the ones I had a couple of years ago from Hobby King. Those units failed after a few flights.”
“Unit came nicely packaged in an anti-static pouch with a small screwdriver for making adjustments and mounting tape and screws. Included cabling for receiver connections was of good quality. The dual elevator and aileron plugs are handy and the switch input to allow on-off function for the gyro via a 09arate channel is a great feature.Instructions are very complete but the language is somewhat awkward in places which in my experience is not unusual for Chinese electronic products.Required some fine tuning to get the sensitivity correct for each channel but very smooth once dialed in.This is a high quality product with great features that worked flawlessly right out of the box.”
