“Just installed this gyro in my Freewing 90 mm T45 and wow, the results were excellent at the field this morning. So that makes two upgrades: First, a more powerful engine made a world of difference and now this 3 axis stabilizer to round out performance. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Very easy to install and adjust. My initial gain settings were only about 1/4 turn for elevator and aileron and just slightly more for the rudder. Any more than a quarter turn and you can get into overcompensation real quick. I very much appreciate a stabilizer that does not require a computer or internal tones for setup and adjustment.”

“I installed this gyro in my Freewing T-45 Arf plus which I had installed an 8S system. The airplane was quite twitchy and was in need of a gyro system. The E51 gyro was easy to install and to adjust sensitivity. It came with ALL necessary support to install. Works quite well. * Special Note Once installed in the aircraft, and active for the first time, the control surfaces (aileron, rudder, and elevators) were hunting at center. However once active and the aircraft taxied for the first time they stopped hunting and held center. This was not due to an over sensitive setting, it appears it’s just part of the way the gyro works.”

“I purchased this gyro for my T-45 8S. Yes 8S. I’m not a gyro person, but the plane on 8S 6000mah was a bit unruly. MotionRC has never done me wrong and I ordered the gyro in hopes to stabilize the plane. It did. Instructions were a bit short on what the dip switches were for, reverse, but that was easy to figure out after powering up and cg’ing control surfaces. The recommended gyro control service setting were a bit too high, again, easy to adjust. Everything came with the gyro need for installation, as long as receiver and gyro are within 4”, otherwise order longer male/male extensions.”
