“Just replaced the striped out left main gear servo. Operated the gear a few times to make sure I had the left was lined up. The right side quit working. I will replace the the right side one time. Another failure and I will scrap the airplane.”

“taken for p51 it is not exactly his, I had to dismantle the piece that was damaged and put it in the old trolley, the rod where the suspension part of the trolley with the wheel is mounted is practically missing, however with a little more work problem solved”

“Very easy to install the replacement main gear motor. Only an inch of tape had to bepulled up to get the existing wire unplugged. This is the first Freewing main retract gear motor that’s failed on me for apparently being defective. The plane has few flights and all the landings have been good.”

“I bought this to replace my original gear that failed - after less than 20 actuations. Neither had worked correctly from day one - and both have been replaced, one of which Motion replaced as a courtesy.So it’s fine - I guess. We’ll see if it lasts.”

“This is a great retract, but the drawing on the web site does not correspond with the real dimensions. So, I had to think a lot about how to modify the landing holder to fit the new retracts. Be careful when choosing this retracts for your plane.”
