“I bought this as a guess for a gas model i have with a bad PCB in the retract. It matched the shaft diameter that i needed so i went for it. My model weighs almost 10 lbs. Its a VQ models p51 red tail. Big saito 72 up front. I know these arent made for that sort of stress but they handle it perfectly. Even less than perfect landings.”

“Work and fit very in my aircraft. Haven't tried any super rough landings or high speed ground turns yet. But I suspect it will be the mounting support underneath that gives up if anything.”

“This retract is listed as replacement for the nose gear of the Freewing P38. Yet in order to be so used, it has to be taken apart and the metal trunion replaced by the one from the defective retract. Very disappointing!”
