I bought this as a guess for a gas model i have with a bad PCB in the retract. It matched the shaft diameter that i needed so i went for it. My model weighs almost 10 lbs. Its a VQ models p51 red tail. Big saito 72 up front. I know these arent made for that sort of stress but they handle it perfectly. Even less than perfect landings.

I had an issue with my L39 order, where the main gear retract on the left side wasn't working up or down and after talking to support at motion RC this was the replacement they sent me to fix my L39 landing gear and now I'm really enjoying this airplane very much and everything is working great

Work and fit very in my aircraft. Haven't tried any super rough landings or high speed ground turns yet. But I suspect it will be the mounting support underneath that gives up if anything.

This retract is listed as replacement for the nose gear of the Freewing P38. Yet in order to be so used, it has to be taken apart and the metal trunion replaced by the one from the defective retract. Very disappointing!

Can't say I enjoyed replacing the previous retract, but this was a perfect replacement. Thanks MRC for your always prompt, courteous and professional response to my need so I could get My Girl safely back in the air.
