“I like this for teaching my son about circuits and it even has some beginning logic like plc’s use. The board that the circuits are built on (bread board) is a bit flimsy. It’s plastic so handle with care. Overall if you’re willing to sit and work through a circuit with a kid they will learn and even some adults will too. It’s a very good beginners training tool. My son on his first project got a simple light circuit and he lit up 3 projects in he made a clap activated circuit. He just lit up. Lol. Bad dad joke. But true.”
“I bought a total of six sets for great-grandchildren, from three years to nine. The oldest g-granddaughter told me they have them at her school in Queens Creek, AZ. These highly awarded and reviewed sets encourage children to learn about electricity, to read plans and follow directions. After a point they become creative in their exploration. These are - in my humble opinion - the finest “toys” money can buy if your desire is to encourage mental development. These are truly long-term investments.”
“My 5 YO LOVES this kit. I bought it as part of our homeschooling but didnt have much time to sit down and do it with him. He can follow the books just fine but I wanted him to learn about electricity not just have fun. So I signed him up for classes on outschool that uses this kit and he's learning a ton and having a ball.”
“very easy to put together. the lessons are very informative. the number of experiments is more like variations than total experiments. but lots to do nonetheless.”
