“I bought the Snap Circuit 100 kit for my 7 year old grandson, and he really enjoyed it. I figured I'd just step up to the deluxe kit so we'd have all we needed to build anything. The SC-750R has plenty of parts, but when it comes to really building things radically different than the 100 circuit kit, it really doesn't measure up. Many circuits aren't really unique, just warmed-over other circuits with little change. In reality, you can probably build 100 unique circuits total. And yes, the 100 circuit kit can really build about 25 unique circuits. It's all about marketing. Update- after a year or so, my grandson has virtually no interest in this kit. For today's kids, (he's 9 now), they just don't get it. Not a wise purchase.”
