The nose gear shows long mounting screws but are no longer available. Disappointed but able to salvage some from my crashed aeroplane. Liked the quick response to my inquiry.

This retract was used as a drop in replacement for the T-28 1.2 and it works FLAWLESSLY! For those who wish to upgrade their nose gear for the T-28 1.2, this is the way to go.

Hope it last longer than the original one did. Case too brittle and cracks.0

Worked as great. Only minor issue was the lead wasn’t as long as original part requiring an extension…

My experience was not good at all. I purchased a replacement nose gear retract unit, along with two main gear retract units, to freshen up a 10 year old model. I tested all three units on the bench prior to installation. The nose gear unit did not have a strut on it yet, and the main gear actuators were purchased with new struts installed. The main gear units actuated properly, the nose gear retract actuator moved to 45 degrees and stopped, both for 5V and 5.5V. I reached out to Motion RC Support and was advised to test the nose gear with the pin down, which I did. I had the same result. I reached back out to Motion RC Support, told them the unit was still failed. I was asked to complete the online return form, which I did. Days later I received an email with a video to test the unit with the pin down. What started on 12/19 is still in same situation on 12/30. The replacement actuator has yet to be shipped, which means I can't fly my SU-35 this weekend after working on it for weeks to refurbish it. This weekend I planned to fly and celebrate the result of many hours of work. More concerning is the fact that those actuators are built and sold with a known problem that should have been rectified on the assembly line. If they are that prone to failure, they don't belong in $200 to $500 models. I planned to buy an A-10 before Christmas, and as a result of this experience I did not purchase it. I will say that I have 3 Motion RC planes, and this is the first negative experience.
