“Solid overall option for a smaller hand launch bank and yank F-22 edf jet. Flies well with good power. I use a 4s 2200mah 50c battery (a bit on the larger side) pushed as far back as possible with 1/2 ounce of counter balance weight in the very back. Near perfect CG and much less nose heavy. This replaces the Xfly F-22 twin 40mm which was significantly underpowered and virtually impossible to hand launch. But that model was muxh nicer quality with a better fit and finish. The Xfly went together nicely like a more modern newly engineered plane while this goes together like an older cheaper airframe. Combining this power system with the Xly F-22 airframe (which CGs perfectly out of the box) would make the perfect 64mm F-22.”

“On my maiden flight, the elevator horn detached causing my plane to take a dive. It broke the front of the fuselage, the nose landing gear detached. Very disappointed as it seems everything was looking until the horn broke. Gonna try to fix it or contact Freewing for a free fuselage, not happy at all.”
“Assuming one knows how to fly an rc airplane, this jet is great first EDF jet. Very forgiving, floats, easy to fly. I've bent and bent back in shape/repaired the gear many, many times. I could have removed the gear but like the takeoff part. I have so many flights on it. The only negative is that it is a small jet, and any small jet gets pushed around by winds exceeding 10 mph. It's low cost so it's one of the jets I try new things with. Currently practicing inverted flight for the full pattern.”

“Beyond disappointed with everything. First off the RC plane ordered had to have everything else ordered to fly. That was fine- went with the bundle it all recommended only to find out- 1 the receiver wouldn’t pair with the remote we bought.
The remote we bought wouldn’t pair with any of the ones the sell locally here.
The charger we bought and battery were not right. And the battery was dead and read no good right out of the box.
So now I have 2 receivers 2 remotes 2 chargers for a dead battery which I’m going to have to replace. And a RC plane that has yet to fly after a month of having it. Along with over $1000 for a basic RC plane”

“I have over 75 flights on this EDF jet and I couldn’t be happier with it. My field requires a hand launch, so I cannot speak to the durability of the landing gear. It looks great in the air, it sounds great, and it was easy to put together. If you were thinking about getting EDF jet and do not want to break the bank then I recommend this one.”
