This plane has a lot of good detail. All the parts went together nicely. The maiden flight went well with very little trimming. Has a large speed range from full throttle to just below half. Haven’t tried high angle landing yet but working on it. But it does land very smoothly.

Good looking model and flyer. Main wheel pants not great and come off during landings. Weak nose wheel strut.

Bottom line up front: This is a fantastic jet and has become a everyday go to jet. I highly recommend it to someone who has experience with warbirds or other fast, low-wing planes or someone coming from a twin 40mm or single 64mm or equivalent fixed gear jet. I personally would not recommend this as a first EDF jet, however. I am a relatively new to EDF jets and this F-22 70mm was my first full-house jet coming from a Xfly twin 50mm A-10 and E-flite Viper 64mm. It surpassed my expectations in every way. Took a few flights of adjustment to the weight, sink rate coming from the 64mm version which I flew as a hand launcher, but once I got acclimated wow! This jet flies so sweet and is surprisingly fast! Faster, it seems, than one of my fellow club member’s FMS Avanti 90mm. I Setup exactly according to the manual for maiden and found the factory CG marks to be way too nose heavy so watch out on first flight. Tried both SMC 6S 4400mah standard Lipos and SMC 6S 4000 mah LiHv packs and the high voltage packs feel tailor made for this jet! Get 4 minute flight time with headroom to spare because I am conservative with my flight timer and rarely push past. The lighter weight of the HV pack batteries vs the standard 4400 lends itself well to this jet and I prefer lighter setup in my planes. This jet is fantastically durable! 15 flights in and landing in a stiff crosswind I overcorrrected before touching down and the jet banged each wing tip and punched to nose gear into the ground. The nose gear had a small crack in the housing so I ended up replacing it even though it still worked and the wing tips did break on each side but the plastic reinforcement and the carbon spar kept the wingtips whole and attached to the plane and the cracks were clean. Glued and painted and you can only tell something happened by getting up close. The gear is very strong and fairly grass capable if you have to land in the grass once i. A while but, I would definitely avoid this jet if you plan on regularly taking off high, pitted, or lumpy grass.I have bought 4 planes now from Motion RC shipping was very fast as it has been each time. The packaging was great and in good condition and the jet itself was good other than a very small dot of bare foam missing paint on the model. Very satisfied with the overall quality of the foam, the paint, the gear is strong/ fantastic oleos all the way around…great jet, great product! Props to Motion RC and Freewing!
