My landing roll out seems to take forever but I do come in little hot. Dead stick landings are awesome. I recommend this plane to anyone interested in jets. I'm using the admiral 2500, 4s and the cg is spot on.”
“I got this jet to replace my worn out one. To my surprise, it came with a 12 blade fan unit. My old one had a 5 blade. Nice ! Much better sound than the old one. I doubt you will find a sweeter flying jet at this price. It seems the servos have been improved as well, although I never had any problems with the original ones. I flew the old one for more than 3 years, that's why I bought another one !”
“Received the plane and all was as it was supposed to be. Assembly was easy and within an hour it was bound, trimmed and ready to fly. Set ailerons at mid rates, (70%) so you can get use to it. Take-off and flying is pretty much piece of cake. Landing is impressive. High Alpha approaches are a thing of beauty. Once on final, throttle back to 25% and let her settle in. Hold nose attitude,(not to high) and sink rate constant through-out approach. You will love the look on this one and your flying buds will be impressed. A great starter EDF.”
“This is simply an awesome little jet. Assembly was quick and easy. For how small it is the scale details are impressive! It has good power and speed. I use admiral pro 4s 2200 and 2500 packs. The slight extra weight from the 2500 helps to keep the plane from bouncing on landing. It can handle grass landings as long as it's really short but can't take off from grass. Haven't tried hand launching yet. The gear is very strong and holds up well. The nose gear on my freewing f-22 bends backwards on rough landings but this one is much stronger. It flies great and I highly recommend it for a first edf jet.”
“This Jet is awesome, be very careful to set your elevator correctly, tip of elevator should line up with top of letters, also do the 12 blade upgrade, it needs the extra thrust. Last but not least, balance your jet, CG is extremely important on this model, same as speed, She loves to stall at slow speed. Take the proper steps and you will be rewarded with an F-18 that is sure to impress, skip the steps, and she will crash.”
