“This jet has potential but not on 3s. The first one I bought launched and then failed to gain altitude after 75 yards and took a hard landing. I swapped out the esc for a 4s capable one and it’s much more usable. I’m unsure if it was a faulty 30a esc or what but the plane is not flyable in stock condition”

“This plane is absolute garbage. It is underpowered, and not having independent aileron and elevators make it even worse! Even after making them independent AND upgrading to a 6s EDF (pain to install but I made it fit) It still flew about as well as a rock. This plane was a waste of time and money.”

“Forget 3s, it is anemicOn 4s(tattu 4s 1550mah) it flies well enough and is very easy to hand launch.It cruises at 70 percent throttleand does not glide at allThe model is pretty and easy to assemble, exept that the rods for the tail were not the correct lenght and i had to adjust them by twisting the clevis on the end.Also do not fly in the wind, and it does not fly vertical.”

“This model is a beauty, nice detailing, paint, and decals. I modded mine. Added 3 servos in the tail for elevators and rudder. About an ounce worth. With a Tattu 3s 1800 as far back as it can go and still strapped down CG is good. I like having flapperons, so flaps for hand launch is very nice. Only about 5mm though. Use differential, no up aileron travel as it acts as a spoiler and stalls the wing resulting in poor roll control. I believe this applies to the two servo set up as well. Rudder is nice for coordinated turns but it doesn’t really knife edge well.I opened up the cheater holes 2mm top and bottom but it is a marginal effect. I trimmed the fuselage fins so it can slide on its belly and added a strip of chassis tape front to back for our hard runway. Anyway, it flies well enough and looks good. Cool little jet.”

“Great looking plane, excellent detail but not convinced on the wing span being so small - i know it respects the original model but its not so easy to fly - need to be careful on the controls or be an expert pilot. Very twitchy. Controls i would have preferred independent ailerons & evelator. However overall, great looking 64 edf true scale model so still happy with the pruchase. Good job Freewing.”
