I have not flown yet. I like the 64mm size and that it came with rudder and thrust reverse. I added 2 elevator servos and set them up as tailerons.

The plane came in a day early. Was super excited. Assembly was a breeze. All parts fit perfectly. I slapped in a spektrum ar630 from an old crashed eflite plane. Binded it up and set it up for an elevon setup. The day was beautiful. I used a 4s 2200 lipo and set my cg perfectly. I took off and was trying to get a feel for it, but not even 5 seconds into flight, lost orientation due to the sun blinding me. Made a pilot error and was lost in the middle of a swamp, never to be seen again. I looked for hours. I just hope I can save the mullah for another one soon. So sad..... It hurts....

Great experience with this as my first EDF jet. I'd been out of the hobby for 25 years, bought a simulator, then a high-wing trainer that I flew a few times before getting this F-16. I put in a regular 4-channel receiver and the A3 Super3 gyro (gain set down to 20% - might go lower yet). I have a dozen flights with it now and it performs excellent. Lots of power to take it vertical or get you out of trouble. You can bank and pull hard on the elevator and not stall out. Having a rudder makes turns smoother and gives you more options for aerobatics than those jets without rudders. One negative is the groove cut in the nose wheel shaft for the e-clip is deeper than it sems it should be. On one landing the jet rolled long and into the grass and snapped the shaft at the e-clip. Ordered a new one and the next time it ran into the grass it snapped off also. So, I just took off the gears and hand launch - really easy to hand launch, even when you forget to turn the gyro on! It is really easy to flare and belly land. It is a lot easier on my battery packs than another 64mm jet I have. Even when I'm pushing this jet the batteries come back only slightly warm to the touch. I'm getting a good 3:30 flight time without risking battery damage. Basically, a great first jet and one I take to the field every time and will never sell. I have a few other jets now and they don't compare to the handling and performance of this F-16.

Simple setup uses one servo per side for aileron and elevator controls. It’s got reverse thrust !! I was able to take it off, flies nice and quick ! My advice is go easy on the sticks since ailerons also have elevator mechanically mixed into your rolls. Landings are nice to do with some high alpha and I’ve gotta remember to take advantage of the reverse thrust …cause it’s just plain cool . HahaNo regrets here . She is pretty hanging from the ceiling too! A+

Outstanding performance... first 64mm that has great power, quality build, and performance. This F-16 could definitely be your first edf. Alot of bang for your buck! It does high alpha fairly easy ... in which do not hand launch with up elevator. It will just high alpha on you. This plane is the easiest plane to hand launch, just toss it with full throttle and it will take off with absolutely no drop. A must buy
