“This F16 looks and flies great! Very nice scale detail, well designed, and easy to assemble. It has a very wide flight envelope and is easy to control. There is plenty of power and it is very efficient. With mixed throttle and decent energy management, I can get 4 minutes of flight with a 2200mah 4s. While this model performs very well as it is, I added some modifications for realistic looks and flight performance. I modified the rear stabilizers to make them full flying just like a real F16. The parts I used for this were the plastics parts kit from the FW 64mm F22 and 2 metal gear 9g servos with a 24in lead. With the full flying stabs it flies very well with excellent low speed maneuverability. I used a 6 channel receiver and set it up for tailerons. I then added magnets to the missile rails so that they could detach easily on rough landings and for storage. I also added a pilot figure for even better looks (FP12431). All of these parts can be purchased from motion rc. With all of these mods it weighs about 730 grams without landing gear or a battery. It feels light in the sky but cuts through gusty wind very well. Thanks to its excellent flight performance and realistic appearance this is my favorite edf jet to fly. I would definitely recommend this to someone who's looking for a F16 or another edf jet. I am very impressed with Freewing's quality. It's always great working with Motion rc!”

“indeed, the 4S 64mm F16 is very well made, and it was so much roomier and easier to fit my gear into; however, I just didn't feel comfortable going with the dual "aileron/elevator hookup! So I bought two more servos and ran the elevators separate from the ailerons. Surprisingly the two extra servos didn't make it much less nose heavy than it was before, so I'll try another set of 2200s which are lighter than the ones I originally put in there!”

“15 flights so far and Flys great. Also glides like a regular plane. Put a spectrum safe receiver in it. Much easier to land if take off the rear landing gear and leave front on. Bouncy with gear on.”
