Nice details scale . Flies good. After making a few adjustments. The manufacturers input are a little more extreme than needed. Needs a lot of elevator and less aileron throw

Great looking plane, she is massive. only thing I don't like is you have to permanently attach the wings due to the wiring set up. have not flown yet.

Overall a very nice product, just a couple of small issues. 1st, the cheater grate needs to be ******* on or not glued to the fuselage. Mine was very securely glued into place and I had a heck of a time removing it. It really should be a separate piece. 2nd, the supplied glue gators the foam. Where the front and rear fuselage parts are glued together, I used the supplied glue and much to my surprise, after curing for a while, the foam at the seam gatored, very disappointed with that. 3rd, I wish the star on the left side of the fin wasn’t factory applied. Trying to cut a slot in it for the servo arm and make it look good is all but impossible. Other than that, assembly was a no brainer. Flies very nice, but I did cut down the elevator and aileron throw, it’s very excessive. Given the above issues, mostly because of the glue gatoring the foam, I’m giving it 4 stars.

The Freewing MiG-21 is truly one of the most exceptional jets I've flown. Since I began RC modeling nearly 10 years ago, I have had the opportunity to fly many EDF airframes, from Exceed RC Hornets and Tornados, to Eflite micros and even other MiGs. To date, nothing has come close to the quality, flyability and overall performance of the MiG-21. I've put nearly 20 flights on this airframe and each time I take it up I am blown away. It is truly incredible how well the aircraft handles in both slow and high speed flight regimes, and how smooth it is in high wind conditions. I have never felt more comfortable in a low altitude, high/low speed pass with any other jet of this scale, or as confident in the aircraft's ability to maintain controllability and stability in the flare. The only gripe I have with this aircraft is it's short flight time, and the fact that the batteries are overpriced for the amount of flight time they provide. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied so far with this airframe. Most importantly, I have never had such pleasant experiences with RC customer support as I have with Motion. The relatively insignificant issues I did have were addressed exceptionally well by a great staff. Overall, MotionRC blows most if not all of its competition out of the water, and I see no reason to shop anywhere else in the future. Thank you MotionRC!

Delivery and Service is perfect. Was flying it next morning.Very good looks and perfomance. You need a solid 35c battery for this.Fan runs on 95 Amps on full throttle.

Excellent All around EDF. This one is definitely unique especially in the blue and white scheme. Looks great turning and burning in the sky. Good solid and reliable gear compliment the all around excellent airframe. Put it together in about 90 minutes. Fits up to 5500 60 c battery easily. Keep the C of G toward the tail side of the recommendation for best flight performance. You don't need a lot of rates on the ailerons. Roll rate is fantastic. Landing is very controllable. On rails really with 25% power setting and then adjust for your touch down point from there. This is an excellent second or third to your fleet. Enjoy.

The only problem I had was that the fuselage pcs didn't lineup, not that big of a deal, just put in 2 carbon spares for support and ca them . I would like to see repair hatches built into all the control areas of the planes. So it's easy to change servos.
